NAJIB 4TH MOST UNPOPULAR WORLD LEADER: WHY NO ‘MAT OVER’ SLAP FOR TIME MAGAZINE EDITOR OR ‘JAMAL RED-SHIRTS’ PROTEST – AFRAID OF DOJ, IS IT?

It’s time to call upon red-shirts leader Jamal to protest against Time magazine.’

TIME names Najib among world leaders ‘less popular’ than Trump

Anonymous 2436471476414726: By the logic of the Umno faithful, Time magazine must be trying to topple Prime Minister Najib Razak with this “tomahan” (allegation). Of course, this is foreign interference in the affairs of a sovereign nation.

How can they not believe that the RM2.6 billion is not a donation when the PM had just returned from Riyadh where he exchanged hugs and kisses with Saudi King Salman.

It’s time to call upon red-shirts leader Jamal Mohd Yunos to protest against the magazine, complete with his band of hearse bearers.

Politician: Attorney-general Mohamed Apandi Ali, why not sue Time magazine for labelling our PM “a corrupt person less popular than Donald Trump?”

Right or wrong, this is a real disgrace for all of us Malaysians and this is not the first time our PM has been labelled as a corrupt leader. Others like Sarawak Report and Wall Street Journal have also implicated our beloved PM with corrupt practices.

Go Mr PM, go. Go sue them all and show the world that you’re innocent.

Anonymous #19098644: What a disgrace to his late father, his family and his country. Anyone who allegedly engages in corruption on such a scale betrays Islam.

Anonymous 1869301444031055: Planning to ambush Trump delegation for a photo shoot is one thing. To be able to gate crash Trump’s party is another thing.

Does Najib’s boys really think Trump hadn’t read the memo titled – ‘The TPP and Malaysia’s Corruption Crisis’ – emailed by billionaire George Soros to the Hillary Clinton campaign chairperson John Podesta?

Does Najib actually believe the Trump administration was so ignorant that the US president hadn’t received a national security apparatus detailing Najib as “a poster boy for the 21st century kleptocracy”, and who has used “a racial supremacist ideology that is collapsing under the weight of corruption” to perpetuate himself in power?

6th Generation Immigrant: Malaysia should wake up to such assessments. Whether or not they are true, it is still an international perception.

Just imagine if this article was translated into Malay and Jawi and distributed in the kampongs and rural areas.

In summary, the magazine has clearly pointed out that over 11 million voters are not in sync with the rest of 30 million Malaysians regarding Najib and Umno.

Needless to say, Umno members are just yes men, yes women and sycophants. And to believe most Malaysians are laughing at Trump and his antics, when we have our own stock at home.

Mytake: If he wins GE14, it just shows how Malaysians in general and the rest of the world think. Right and wrong are viewed differently.

Hang Babeuf: I do not believe Time magazine. They do not understand. They do not understand that in Malaysia you can be truly “bent”, but so long as you bend the right way it causes no unpopularity, only popular enthusiasm.

One succeeds by being a socially acceptable and politically generous rogue, a smiling deliverer of benefits. You scratch his back and he will watch out for yours.

Watan: Some flaunt academic qualifications as cover for bigotry, others claim illicit money as donation, and yet the strange used belief for self-glorification.

Dont Just Talk: The best part was when Najib stood in front of the civil servants advising them not to be corrupt and not to take money which do not belong to them.

I really have to salute Malaysian Official 1 (MO1) for his courage or thick skin.

NNFC: Shame is obviously not in the party’s vocabulary. In any other place, they would be kicked out by now.

CQ Muar: MO1 don’t even have to masquerade or feel ashamed of his alleged crime. He has no conscience or guilt whatsoever despite the scandals surrounding him being known internationally.

Of late, he met up with those Muslim leaders from other countries in Riyadh as though nothing is amiss, and flashed his standard “innocent” smile with such disgusting confidence. For that, Malaysians have to applaud him for his audacity and “showmanship”.

Such display of composure must certainly make him the most “outstanding” PM in the history of Malaysia. For such fine acting, perhaps Guinness Book of Records ought to recognise and award him for the exceptional feat.

Kangkung: MO1 has again and again put our country into shame. This country has an allegedly corrupt leader who continues to cling on to power by silencing all government agencies which have the power to prosecute him.

Look at South Korea’s former president Park Geun-hye. She faces charges including bribery, abusing state power and leaking state secrets. She may be imprisoned for life.

The Analyser: The reality is (and I know how much Malaysians hate to face up to reality) that in any democratic country where governments change, some leaders are inevitably less popular than Trump.

Malaysia4All: And again, Malaysia is gaining world attention, for all the wrong reasons. When are Malaysians going to wake up and say, “Enough is enough”?

Doc: Being even less popular than Trump is not an easy feat that Najib has achieved.

Then again, despite being super unpopular with the Malaysian masses; Time magazine, Fortune magazine, The Economist, WSJ, etc, all agree on one thing with regards to Najib – he is expected to win the coming GE14.

Apa Ini?: I don’t know any Malaysian who believes Najib is innocent of the 1MDB scandal, even Malay Malaysians confess they cannot stand him and his first lady.

But they expect him to win the next elections because the opposition is so fractured. And gerrymandering alone will ensure a win in Malay-dominated constituencies anyway.

Sama2 Rojak: Let’s slap the Time magazine editor.
