‘Street Magician’ in China Arrested For Using Tricks to Grab Women’s Breasts
A “street magician” who performs tricks as a means to grope women’s breasts in China was recently arrested by Chinese authorities.
His accomplice, a cameraman who aids him on his perverted quest to abuse clueless women, was also taken into police custody.
The groping magician, identified only by his surname Xu, caught the authorities’ attention after he posted a self-incriminating video of himself doing his dubious tricks on a Chinese video-sharing site.
According to Daily Mail, the video was shot along a pedestrian shopping street in Chengdu, Sichuan Province and uploaded on Youku on June 14. A statement released by Jinjiang Police Bureau revealed that web users reported the video for containing sexual abuse.
In the clip, the 26-year-old is shown performing a coin trick that involves him placing a coin on different women’s breasts, claiming that he could make it go under their bra.
Xu’s routine starts off with him asking his potential victims to check if the coin is real, just like how a typical David Blaine rip-off would. He then instructs them to stare at the coin, before placing the coin on the woman’s breasts by casually cupping them with his hand.
He told them to stay still until he let go of his hand.
Reactions from the victims were varied, with few of them expressing shock as Xu went about his “magic trick.”
“Does it have to be on my breast?” one of the women asked.
Xu ends his con by dropping the coin on the ground and pretending to have failed the magic.
